Job Overview
We seek a personal assistant for a busy couple in Kirkland, WA. Candidates should have hands-on home ownership experience and be adept at managing household operations smoothly. Duties involve tidying, meal preparation, pet care, laundry, organization, errands, as well as coordinating and scheduling vendors. The clients prefer minimal daily interaction, so independence and initiative are essential. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and friendly.
Work Schedule and Location
This position requires 15 hours weekly: Mondays 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Wednesdays 12:00 PM - 5:30 PM, and Fridays 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Work is onsite in Kirkland, WA, and applicants must reside in the Greater Seattle area.
Compensation
The hourly wage ranges from $28 to $31, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage household chores such as laundry, tidying, and dishwashing.
- Prepare meals including chopping vegetables and readying snacks.
- Assist with vendor management and special projects related to home maintenance.
- Run errands like grocery shopping, picking up returns, and dry cleaning.
- Care for a small puppy, providing feeding, walking, and companionship.
- Maintain and follow a detailed home maintenance schedule, scheduling services such as gutter cleaning, HVAC servicing, and sprinkler system blowouts.
Physical Requirements and Qualifications
- Capable of lifting objects up to 35 pounds.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle for errands.
- Comfortable handling dogs.
