Hotel Housekeeper

About the Role

This position is for a reliable and detail-focused hotel housekeeper who will help keep guest spaces clean, organized, and inviting. The job plays a key part in shaping a positive guest experience. The employer is looking for someone who works hard, moves quickly, and takes satisfaction in maintaining high standards.

Schedule and Availability

Work is during daytime hours, with Monday through Friday shifts starting at 9:00 AM and weekend shifts starting at 10:00 AM. The schedule requires availability seven days a week, and the specific working days may change from week to week.

Pay

Compensation is between $12.00 and $13.00 per hour, depending on experience. Extra hours may be available when needed.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and shared hotel spaces
• Prepare beds, replace linens, and replenish towels and guest supplies
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust the areas assigned to you
• Make sure rooms consistently follow the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards
• Immediately alert management to maintenance concerns or safety risks
• Keep hallways, housekeeping carts, and storage areas neat and clean

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality is preferred
• Strong eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently
• Comfortable working alone as well as with a team
• Good communication skills
• Able to stand, bend, lift, and stay active throughout the shift
• Must be able to work on any day of the week

Additional Information

The role is based in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is a full-time onsite position.
