Home Delivery Driver

Position Overview

We are seeking Home Delivery Drivers who take pride in offering outstanding service and enjoy spending their workday on the road delivering customers' groceries. As a representative of Iceland Foods, you will be the friendly face interacting directly with customers and ensuring their orders arrive in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safe procedures when loading the delivery van, including managing heavy items and manual handling safely.
• Comply with all road safety and safe driving standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in good condition.
• Guarantee food deliveries reach customers maintaining their quality and freshness.
• Provide excellent, courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Assist within the store as needed.
• Work independently and efficiently manage time to meet delivery schedules.
• Adapt to varied shifts, which may range between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license, held for at least three years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude and a commitment to delivering a great customer experience.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrate a keen awareness and practice of road safety principles.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of £13.71.
