Overview
Silverchain Group is seeking compassionate individuals in Hobart and nearby suburbs to join our team as Home Care Workers. This role involves supporting elderly community members to sustain their independence at home while enhancing their wellbeing.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive award wage of $43.03 per hour plus superannuation and reimbursement of travel expenses.

Requirements
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to an insured, roadworthy vehicle.
- Interest in aged or community care, with 3 to 6 months previous experience in a similar capacity preferred.
Key Duties
- Perform general household chores including bed making, cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and ironing.
- Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping.
- Provide social support and transportation to community or lifestyle activities.
- Offer respite to family carers, allowing them time for other responsibilities.
