Overview
The Health Manager position entails comprehensive oversight and leadership of health programs from conceptualization through execution. This role includes designing health initiatives, resource coordination, continuous performance evaluation, and ensuring all efforts align with organizational strategies and regulatory standards. A central focus is on monitoring defined outcome metrics and fostering evidence-based decision-making to continually refine program impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate health program strategies and translate organizational priorities into actionable plans.
- Research and engage stakeholders to support program development and define measurable objectives and execution methodologies.
- Lead full lifecycle management of health programs, including budgeting, implementation, progress tracking, data review, and effectiveness assessment.
- Cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with national health entities, government organizations, private sector partners, and internal teams to support program goals.
- Facilitate leadership engagement activities and organize key meetings to foster program sustainability and knowledge exchange.
- Oversee budgetary planning, resource allocation, and ensure adherence to financial plans for efficient program delivery.
- Conduct research on emerging sector trends and innovative solutions, maintaining program alignment with evolving organizational strategies.
- Develop and monitor performance indicators, provide thorough reporting to leadership, and promote continuous improvement based on evaluation findings.
- Identify programmatic risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and governance frameworks.
- Design and implement training initiatives to support knowledge transfer among stakeholders and promote evidence-based practices.
- Support public health governance through effective meeting preparation and collaboration with key health committees.
- Manage communications related to health programs, including media engagements and stakeholder messaging, to enhance public health outreach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or a related health discipline is required.
- Master's degree preferred, particularly in Healthcare Administration, Quality, Public Health, Business, or equivalent areas.
- Project Management certification or significant equivalent professional experience.
- 8 to 10 years of experience managing health portfolios or programs.
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of public health communication and website management technologies is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Arabic and English languages is preferred.
