What you will own
- Shape and continuously improve the security strategy across infrastructure, application security, internal controls, and operational resilience.

- Work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams on secure architecture and secure development approaches.
- Improve application security, system hardening, access management, and supply chain protection.
- Expand capabilities for detection, monitoring, prevention, and incident response.
- Direct security incident handling and provide steady leadership during urgent situations.
- Assess risks introduced by AI-assisted development and other new technologies.
- Promote security awareness through training, collaboration, and actionable guidance.
- Support customer security conversations, reviews, and trust-building efforts.
- Help recruit, mentor, and strengthen a high-performing security team.
- Build processes and tooling that improve reliability while keeping operations efficient.
- Serve as a trusted security advisor across the company and reinforce a culture of accountability.
Candidate profile
The company is seeking a technically strong security leader with a track record of building security programs in modern engineering environments. You should be able to operate at the strategic level while staying close enough to the technical details to drive real improvements.
- Experience leading security functions or security programs in technology-focused organizations.
- Strong background in both infrastructure security and application security.
- Practical experience managing security incidents and coordinating response efforts.
- Solid understanding of secure software development, supply chain security, identity and access management, and infrastructure protection.
- Ability to align security controls with engineering speed and business goals.
- Experience building scalable security processes, controls, and operating models.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and contemporary engineering practices.
- Exposure to AWS, developer tooling, fintech, mobile, or payments environments is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills for working with engineers, executives, customers, and other teams.
- A practical, hands-on leadership style with strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and comfort in ambiguous situations.
- Experience growing and managing security teams is highly desirable.
