Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of People Operations to establish scalable HR frameworks, systems, and policies that empower the team to perform optimally. This role leads talent acquisition and employee engagement initiatives, fostering a culture aligned with our values and supporting long-term talent strategies. Collaborative work with Beast Industries' executive team is critical to align people strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement scalable HR processes to support rapid organizational growth.
• Manage the overall employee experience, from onboarding through retention, ensuring high engagement and performance levels.
• Develop strategic frameworks for compensation, benefits, and performance management to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with leadership to strengthen employee connectedness and cultivate a diverse, inclusive culture.
• Oversee HR systems to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6 or more years of experience in People Operations or HR with leadership in high-growth startups or fintech sectors.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable people programs, infrastructures, and processes from scratch.
• Experienced in leading talent acquisition and devising recruiting strategies that attract top talent.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
• Proficient in process development, execution, and applying data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to handle immediate priorities while anticipating and planning for future needs.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and capacity to collaborate with executive leadership.
• Passion for fostering a high-performance, people-centric culture.

Additional Details

Location: Remote, Bay Area preferred, with occasional travel for offsites and meetings.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
