Head of Boarding & Academic Integration

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Boarding & Academic Integration to oversee and harmonize the boarding and academic programs for Juventus youth players. This pivotal position ensures a superior residential and educational experience intricately aligned with the players' football development pathway.

You will serve as the crucial intermediary among the Club, academic institutions, boarding facilities, students, and their families to guarantee efficient planning, operational excellence, and continual communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate an academic plan integrated thoroughly with training schedules, competitive events, and supervised study hours.
• Act as the primary liaison between the football club, boarding school, and/or academic institution.
• Enforce adherence to daily routines, internal regulations, and schedules, including classes, breaks, leisure, and rest periods.
• Closely work with academic staff to monitor and support students' academic achievements and long-term educational objectives.
• Guide students in organizing their studies, personal growth, and acclimatization to academic and residential life.
• Maintain strong communication channels with families by providing regular updates regarding students' progress, well-being, and daily activities.
• Facilitate cultural and social integration for international students, exhibiting empathy, sensitivity, and an understanding of personal needs.
• Supervise boarding facilities to uphold safety, comfort, organization, and student welfare standards.
• Manage contracts and relationships with accommodation, catering, maintenance, and external suppliers.
• Oversee and regulate the annual boarding budget to ensure cost efficiency, financial stability, and alignment with Club policies.
• Coordinate daily transportation between the boarding facility and the training center.
• Authorize and monitor student permissions for off-campus activities following Club and boarding guidelines.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Education, Sports Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in boarding management, student services, sports academies, or similar educational environments.
• Experience working in multinational and multicultural settings.
• Excellent organizational and planning capabilities within environments with complex and overlapping schedules.
• Demonstrated proficiency in budget oversight, cost management, and administrative reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of contract management and coordination with third-party service providers.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across students, families, academic personnel, and senior management.
• Strong leadership qualities characterized by authoritative yet approachable decision-making, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
• High cultural awareness, especially in supporting international students’ integration.
• Competent at enforcing rules, managing priorities, and maintaining structured residential environments.
• Independent, responsible, and professional work ethic.
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• Prior engagement with sports organizations, football training centers, or high-performance contexts is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary package ranging from 60000 to 70000, depending on experience, complemented by additional benefits aligned with Club standards.
