Head Barista

Position Overview

New Beginning is seeking a skilled and responsible Head Barista to lead the coffee bar operations at Teta’s Tables in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time position with a contract duration of two years. The role calls for an experienced individual who can efficiently oversee daily bar activities while actively participating in the service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Leading the coffee bar and acting as the primary person in charge
• Managing bar inventory and stock levels diligently
• Ensuring the accurate and consistent preparation of all drinks and formulations
• Monitoring product freshness and expiration dates to maintain quality
• Scheduling and overseeing the barista team effectively
• Upholding proper packaging standards
• Contributing to menu development with recommendations to add, remove, or refine drinks
• Maintaining rigorous quality control across all drink orders
• Minimizing wastage through efficient batch management
• Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the coffee bar throughout service hours
• Training and mentoring baristas on recipes, standards, and workflow procedures
• Providing support in daily bar operations in an operational manager role
