Position Overview
As a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the grocery department. This role provides an opportunity to enhance your retail skills while ensuring the grocery area is well organized and stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and zone the grocery department efficiently.
- Rotate stock regularly and remove expired products to maintain freshness.
- Ensure all merchandise is correctly priced and clearly labeled.
- Comply with food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning protocols.
- Manage procedures related to ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, and product labeling.
- Keep the grocery area fully stocked and business-ready at all times.
- Follow health and safety regulations stringently.
- Handle stocking and downstocking tasks, apply product protection when needed, and arrange modular displays including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.40.
