About the Role
Vrinda Papers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a meticulous Graphic Designer with advanced skills in Adobe InDesign to join their creative team based in Noida, Sector 63. The position involves taking charge of book layouts, cover designs, and preparing print-ready materials while ensuring adherence to brand and publishing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and format interiors and covers of books along with marketing materials using Adobe InDesign.
- Produce print-ready files with precise bleed, margin, and CMYK color profile settings.
- Work collaboratively with editorial and production departments to ensure consistent design quality.
- Handle multiple projects efficiently within strict deadlines.
- Maintain conformity with brand guidelines and publishing norms.
- Proofread and fine-tune layouts to eliminate typographical and visual errors.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrable experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator/Adobe Creative Suite, and Pro Create is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
- Strong grasp of typography principles, grid layouts, and print production procedures.
- Knowledge of pre-press operations such as bleed, trim, and CMYK color modes.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline is required.
- A portfolio featuring book or print layout work must be presented.
- Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines.
Additional Preferences
- Experience within book publishing or the print media sector is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of file preparation for offset printing is beneficial.
- Exposure to EPUB or digital formatting is an added plus though not required.
Job Details
This is a full-time position located in Noida Sector 63 offering hybrid working arrangements (on-site and work from home). The monthly salary ranges from 40000 to 100000 INR.
