About the Company

About the Role
This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently finished, or is currently studying toward, a Business (Property) degree and wants to start a career in property valuation. The position is based in Hamilton or Tauranga, and the successful candidate will work with experienced valuers while building hands-on experience across a broad mix of assignments in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. Work will include property inspections, market analysis, rating valuation tasks, preparation of valuation reports, and exposure to both residential and commercial property work. The role is designed to support your development toward becoming a Registered Valuer.
About You
The employer is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and clear communicator who wants a permanent full-time role and is ready to build a long-term career in the business. - You have recently completed, or are currently working toward, a Bachelor of Business (Property) or a similar qualification
- You have a strong interest in property valuation work
- You are comfortable using computers and related systems
- You can communicate clearly and confidently
- You present yourself in a professional and positive way
- You hold a current driver’s licence
What You Will Do
- Assist experienced valuers on a range of valuation assignments
- Carry out property inspections
- Research market data and property information
- Support rating valuation activities
- Prepare valuation reports
- Gain exposure to residential and commercial property types
- Build the skills needed to progress toward registration as a valuer
