Based at our Millicent Mill location, this fixed-term role spans two years and is designed to develop future leaders and technical specialists through our Graduate Program.
Job Responsibilities
- Enhance and build upon existing initiatives aimed at manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage projects that impact production line performance, ensuring key performance indicators for safety, quality, and cost are met.
- Lead project delivery by coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong capabilities in analysis, problem-solving, and communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards learning, collaboration, and challenging existing processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, or continuous improvement practices.
- Previous exposure through internships, university projects, or work experience within engineering or manufacturing settings.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and inventive problem-solving capability.
- Demonstrated initiative and enthusiasm for enacting positive change and supporting peers.
