Role Overview
This position is based in Singapore at Robinson Road and follows an on-site working model. The designer will shape end-to-end user experiences for mobile products, work closely with research and cross-functional teams, and contribute to a shared design system.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply design-thinking methods in everyday product design work.
- Spot opportunities to improve existing products and user flows.
- Take ownership of the complete user experience, from overall product consistency to detailed interface decisions for individual features.
- Produce wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs, and Figma prototypes to communicate design ideas clearly.
- Collaborate with the internal user research team to validate features and refine designs based on user insights.
- Use established design system components to prepare UI outputs.
- Make sound decisions in unclear situations while staying adaptable and creative.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across cultures, including with teams in different time zones and regions.
- Organize work efficiently and manage time well in both live and asynchronous collaboration settings.
- Help maintain and improve the Figma design system when needed.
- Demonstrate awareness of mobile accessibility standards; experience in this area is an advantage.
Requirements
- 0 to 3 years of professional UI design experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end mobile product design; a portfolio is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Auto Layout, component variants, and design system management.
- Practical experience creating animations using Lottie or After Effects.
- Solid understanding of mobile design principles, including Material Design and iOS Human Interface Guidelines, along with ways to balance performance and visual quality.
- Foundational UX strategy skills, including support for persona analysis, information architecture improvements, and usability test reporting.
