Overview

Our client is a prominent multidisciplinary consultancy delivering expert geotechnical, structural, and civil engineering services throughout New Zealand. Their projects span residential, commercial, telecommunications, and infrastructure sectors, offering a broad range of professional challenges.

Position Summary

This role entails active participation in various geotechnical projects encompassing investigation, analysis, design, and construction assistance. You will collaborate with an experienced technical team, take ownership of projects, and nurture client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical investigations and perform engineering evaluations
Design foundations, earthworks, and retaining walls
Analyze slope stability and develop remediation strategies
Oversee construction monitoring, site examinations, and provide technical guidance
Prepare detailed technical reports and design documentation
Manage client interactions and guide project execution

Candidate Profile

Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
Minimum of 4 years experience in geotechnical engineering and design
Strong analytical skills and adept problem-solving ability
Proficiency with geotechnical modelling and analysis software
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Competence in client management and project leadership
