Role overview
Al Barakat Group Co Ltd. is hiring a General Services & Facilities Specialist to join the Business Development management team in Riyadh. The position focuses on overseeing operations, maintenance, and general services, while helping improve day-to-day efficiency and supporting the company’s expansion and development plans.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the overall presentation of showrooms and ensure high standards of cleanliness and quality through regular follow-up plans.
- Coordinate the setup and launch of new showrooms, including decoration, electrical work, air-conditioning, and signage installation according to approved timelines.
- Oversee preventive and emergency maintenance activities across all branches and company facilities.
- Manage external service contracts, such as cleaning, maintenance, and operations providers, including workforce monitoring, task allocation, and performance review.
- Improve support processes for supplying and executing work orders for branches inside and outside the Kingdom.
- Supervise fleet operations, route planning, routine servicing, inspections, and renewals.
- Handle company housing, residential compounds, and owned properties, with clear procedures for handover, takeover, maintenance, and follow-up.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to provide and distribute uniforms to branch staff in line with approved policies.
- Support the development of maintenance and decoration teams to ensure work is delivered to a high standard.
- Track and execute internal procurement related to operational needs.
- Supervise operational and development projects in accordance with the company’s approved plans.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
- At least 5 to 7 years of practical experience in operations management, facilities management, or general services.
- Proven experience in leading teams and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and priority-management abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple sites and operational projects at the same time.
