Role Overview
The General Manager position holds comprehensive responsibility for profit and loss, focusing on driving accelerated revenue growth. The role demands ownership of the entire commercial strategy, direct involvement in closing significant contracts, and development of a robust sales pipeline and team. It requires versatility to engage with executive stakeholders in luxury hotels as well as operational teams on-site. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this leadership role is pivotal to the company’s next growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full P&L accountability including revenue generation, margin optimization, cost control, and EBITDA to meet ambitious growth objectives.
- Lead the commercial function by building and converting a strong pipeline of clients across hospitality, healthcare, aviation, and facilities management sectors while personally securing major accounts.
- Expedite the sales process by refining pricing, streamlining deal negotiations, and reducing the cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
- Utilize and grow a network of senior decision-makers throughout the UAE to swiftly access new business opportunities.
- Formulate and implement commercial strategies and market approaches including expansion into new service offerings, verticals, and regions.
- Guide, mentor, and hold accountable commercial, operations, and support teams to elevate overall performance standards.
- Maintain operational excellence ensuring service quality, turnaround efficiency, and capacity align with growth demands.
- Protect and grow the existing customer portfolio while fending off competitive pressures.
- Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and strategic insights directly to the Group CEO.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive leadership background as a General Manager, Commercial Director, or senior sales leader within laundry, linen, textile rental, facilities management, hospitality supply, or similar B2B services.
- Proven success record in driving swift, ongoing revenue expansion and securing large-scale contracts.
- Active, wide-reaching commercial relationships across UAE hospitality, healthcare, aviation, and facilities management sectors readily deployable from day one.
- Strong commercial and financial expertise with full P&L responsibility, pricing formulation, and margin management skills.
- Proactive, action-oriented approach with a track record of rapid deal closure and building business momentum.
- Direct experience within UAE/GCC markets is mandatory.
- Effective leadership qualities capable of inspiring and directing diverse teams.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills advantageous.
