Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manually or with basic equipment, load, unload, and transport products and materials
- Organize and prep products for shipment or storage
- Provide assistance to machine operators and production team members as required
- Label and tag products accurately
- Keep the work environment clean and orderly
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures
- Report any deficiencies or issues promptly to management
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience in heavy lifting or general labor roles is advantageous
- Capability to consistently lift weights up to 50 lbs
- Must be willing to wear full personal protective equipment throughout shifts
- A strong focus on workplace safety
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to work comfortably outdoors in various weather conditions
Additional Information
- Working hours run Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturdays required as needed
- Position based in Goodwood, Nova Scotia; reliable transportation is necessary as public transit access is unavailable
- Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada; sponsorship for work visas is not offered
