Role Overview
Aramark Canada is hiring a General Utility Worker in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This role is focused on keeping the kitchen, dish area, equipment, and surrounding workspaces clean, sanitary, and operating smoothly. It is a strong entry point for someone who is dependable, service-minded, and interested in building a career in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do
- Help keep guests satisfied by ensuring dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, glassware, kitchen tools, and other equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Keep the dishwashing area, three-compartment sink, and nearby spaces neat and hygienic.
- Check that equipment stays clean and functional, and report any problems to management.
- Assist with light upkeep and custodial duties as needed.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working with guests, customers, clients, and teammates.
- Follow all safety rules, including food safety and sanitation standards set by Aramark.
- Protect company property and help maintain the security of assets.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of sanitation practices is required.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, especially when working around hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, push, pull, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- May need to wear a uniform and use personal protective equipment.
