About Hadrian
Hadrian is pioneering the future of manufacturing by developing autonomous factories that enable aerospace and defense companies to produce rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to ten times faster and at half the cost. Our innovative combination of advanced software platforms, robotics, and comprehensive manufacturing techniques is transforming American manufacturing of critical components.
We are rapidly expanding, having launched Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona—a vast 290,000 square foot facility generating 350 jobs. Our growth plans include thousands of additional hires, expansion into naval manufacturing through Hadrian Maritime, and offering a Factory-as-a-Service model delivering fully integrated systems rather than individual parts. Our company is supported by prominent investors such as T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz. Our team shares a commitment to reindustrializing America's manufacturing for the modern era and beyond.
Role Overview
As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you may contribute across various internal teams and products including:
- Flow: Our core FactoryOS platform that manages and automates complex factory networks.
- Copilot: A set of manufacturing automation solutions streamlining key factory processes like quoting, CAM, and CMM programming.
- Factory Automation: Development of robotic cells and corresponding control software used within our factories.
The breadth of internal applications provides ample opportunity for candidates eager to redefine manufacturing software. Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries is not required to excel.

- Engage with both internal and external customers directly to inform and advance the product roadmap.
- Collaborate closely with a talented group of engineers, factory operators, and expert machinists and CAM programmers.
- Enjoy considerable autonomy and abundant opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Who We're Looking For
- Strong bias toward action and pride in craftsmanship, prioritizing correct solutions over being right.
- Experience leading critical technical projects or initiatives.
- Proven track record working on large-scale, complex codebases.
- Extensive experience delivering modern full-stack applications, with frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and backend technologies including Go and Python.
- User-focused and product-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment with rapid iteration cycles.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; former or aspiring founders are welcome, with full company support including potential investment and networking introductions.
- Ability to work onsite at our Los Angeles factory located in Torrance, CA.

- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Potential relocation assistance in certain cases based on business needs.
- Flexible vacation policy to support work-life balance.
- Equity in the company.
Additional Terms and Requirements
Due to regulatory compliance with U.S. Government space technology export controls including ITAR, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals under federal statute, or able to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
