Role Overview
Terraces at Summitview in Yakima, Washington, part of HumanGood, is hiring a Housekeeper for its senior living community. The community is nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report as Best Assisted Living and Best Independent Living for 2025-2026. This position supports a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across resident homes, shared spaces, the dining room, and other areas within the community.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time onsite role with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this job is $17.13 to $23.36, with pay determined by experience.
Key Duties
Working under general supervision, the housekeeper follows approved cleaning procedures to keep assigned spaces clean and sanitary.
- Clean kitchen spaces, including countertops, appliances, sinks, and floors.
- Remove dust and wipe down desks, furniture, doors, baseboards, and window sills.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and furniture, with occasional carpet spot-cleaning as needed.
- Carry out other related essential tasks when required.
What You Need
Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent credential and be able to read, speak, and understand English. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
