About the role
EaseMyTrip.com is looking for a Frontend Software Developer to build and improve the user-facing parts of web applications. The work centers on Angular and core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong focus on responsive interfaces, API connectivity, browser compatibility, and performance. The position also involves maintaining high code quality through testing, documentation, and ongoing awareness of current frontend trends.
Key responsibilities
- Develop clean, efficient frontend code for web applications using Angular together with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Turn design mockups and wireframes into interactive, functional web pages with a smooth user experience.
- Ensure the application looks and behaves consistently across different browsers.
- Connect frontend screens with backend APIs to retrieve and present data accurately.
- Improve application speed and responsiveness by optimizing code and reducing load times.
- Create layouts that adapt well to desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Use Git for source control and smooth team-based development.
- Prepare clear documentation for code, processes, and development workflows.
- Diagnose frontend bugs and issues and suggest practical technical fixes.
- Keep up with changes and best practices in frontend development, including Angular updates.
Preferred candidate profile
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Angular-based frontend development.
- Strong command of Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and related modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Comfortable working in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Ability to write code that performs reliably across browsers and devices.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Working understanding of SEO concepts as applied to web applications.
- Good knowledge of Git and databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Self-driven, able to work independently, and comfortable handling deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Open to adopting new tools and approaches to solve business and technical challenges.
