About Mindrift and the Role
Mindrift is seeking a highly capable and adaptable Graphic Designer to contribute to the Tendem project. This initiative combines AI with human expertise to manage specialized data scraping workflows. As part of the team, you will collaborate with Tendem Agents who handle routine tasks, while you apply your critical thinking, domain knowledge, and graphic design expertise to transform initial concepts into refined and professional visual materials.
This position offers part-time remote work and is suited for creative professionals experienced in visual communications, layout design, and producing diverse marketing collateral.
Responsibilities
- Develop clean and modern layouts, infographics, and establish clear visual hierarchies for engaging readability.
- Create reusable and attractive templates for various social media platforms and design compelling one-pagers.
- Enhance design quality using advanced typography, grid systems, and thoughtful composition techniques.
- Convert raw data and ideas into polished visual assets that meet specific marketing and communication objectives.
- Maintain high design standards by thoroughly checking visual alignment, color schemes, and layout consistency before delivery.
Requirements
- Desirable experience of 1-2 years in graphic design, digital design, or visual communications.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related creative disciplines is advantageous.
- Strong skills in typography, grid systems, and visual composition to improve everyday materials.
- Proven expertise in creating visual assets like infographics and social media templates.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for diverse design tasks.
- Ability to adapt formats between impactful one-pagers and engaging digital templates.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency (B2 level or above).
- A detail-oriented, adaptable, and fast-paced work approach.
- Commitment to producing professional and visually polished deliverables.
- Capable of self-managing multiple visual tasks effectively.
- A CV including a link to a portfolio showcasing relevant graphic design work is mandatory; applications without a portfolio link or relevant cases will not be considered.
Additional Information
Work hours during active phases of the project are estimated between 10 and 20 hours per week, though this varies and is not guaranteed. Compensation can reach up to $50 per hour depending on the contributor's level and work pace. Rates may differ for other projects based on complexity and expertise required.
This is a project-based freelance position, with task availability contingent on project status. Contributors may be invited to participate in multiple projects based on their profile and the needs at the time.
