Role Overview

The Founding AI Engineer will lead the development and refinement of AI systems tasked with creating quality motion graphics that integrate applied motion design principles such as easing, non-linear dynamics, and visual hierarchies.

Key responsibilities include establishing evaluation methodologies mixing automated metrics with domain expert assessment, collaborating closely with motion designers and marketing teams to embed professional design standards into AI training data, and constructing fine-tuning frameworks to adapt AI outputs to specific animation styles and brand aesthetics.

The role requires implementing iterative feedback cycles that synthesize user preferences, expert insights, and model analytics to perpetually elevate animation quality, alongside exploring experimental and advanced methods for controllable and style-consistent motion graphic generation.

Technical Environment

While the technology stack is adaptable based on feature and product demands, the current tools encompass TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, cloud services like GCP and AWS, and Hera’s proprietary motion graphics engine. Emphasis is placed on rapid learning, end-to-end feature delivery, and the adoption of new tools where beneficial.
