About the Role
The Foreman for Plant & Machinery (P&M) at the site is tasked with supervising and coordinating the daily operations, movement, and optimal use of construction plant and machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring that equipment is operated safely and efficiently, managing operator schedules, and supporting the site team in achieving construction deadlines through dependable machinery performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of plants and machinery at the construction site, ensuring equipment is readily available for all construction tasks.
- Assign operators and machinery according to the specific needs of different work areas and the overall construction schedule.
- Enforce strict adherence to safe operating procedures and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs) by all machinery operators.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment operating hours, fuel consumption, and site-specific movements.
