Conduct detailed manual reviews and analyses of portfolio and benchmark holdings along with historical transaction data to identify restrictions not automatically flagged by Charles River, leveraging research from systems like Bloomberg and MSCI.
Carry out post-trade compliance audits to ensure portfolio holdings and historical transactions adhere to regulatory requirements, client mandates, and internal policies.
Engage directly with traders and portfolio teams at order entry for pre-trade compliance verification against investment limitations.
Investigate exceptions from automated pre-trade compliance reviews in Charles River, escalating issues as necessary.
Prepare certification documentation for sub-advised and institutional clients.
Support the preparation of client and board reporting materials.
Maintain and regularly update compliance-related documentation and procedures.
Manage team administrative duties and contribute to independent research and analysis tasks.
Evaluate and enhance current controls and workflows aimed at improving efficiency and minimizing errors and risks.

MBA specializing in Finance from top-tier business schools preferred; exceptional graduates from reputed colleges with strong academic records are also considered.
Preferred 1-2 years of experience within financial services such as asset management, mutual funds, or stockbroking, particularly in portfolio or investment compliance roles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with various applications; knowledge of Macros or automation tools is advantageous.
Solid understanding of complex financial instruments including fixed income, equities, private equity, ETFs, municipal securities, and derivatives.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with global teams including portfolio managers and traders daily.
In-depth knowledge of diverse asset classes and market fundamentals with the professional demeanor to collaborate across multiple departments.
Mandatory clearance of CFA Level 1 or Level 2, or FRM Level 1 certification.

This is a permanent position based in Hyderabad, India. The role requires working US shift hours from 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM or 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
