Overview
We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Fit-Out Site Engineer specializing in luxury residential villas to join our team in the UAE. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of upscale villa interior fit-out projects, emphasizing high-quality architectural finishes and bespoke workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
The engineer will oversee and coordinate all fit-out activities on-site, guaranteeing adherence to approved designs, technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and project schedules. This position requires working closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality craftsmanship, optimal resource management, logistics, and budget control throughout the project duration.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- At least five years of demonstrated experience in interior fit-out tasks, particularly within luxury villas or premium residential developments in Dubai.
- Hands-on expertise in high-grade architectural finishes, customized joinery, marble and stone applications, ceilings, partitions, and façade components.
- Competence in integrating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems with architectural elements, detecting clashes, and proposing solutions before on-site implementation.
- Well-versed in construction project reporting and industry documentation standards.
- Deep knowledge of luxury fit-out methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Working familiarity with MEP coordination in upscale fit-out settings.
- Understanding of UAE regulatory requirements and inspection protocols.
- Proficient at reading and interpreting Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Experience managing inspection requests, preparing method statements, material submittals, and compiling as-built records.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; solid command of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
