The Financial Analyst is vital in converting operational and financial data into meaningful intelligence supporting leadership, franchisee success, and our growth trajectory.

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will lead the core financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tasks, collaborate closely with Accounting to ensure strong financial controls and reporting accuracy, and deliver actionable insights to both leadership and franchisees. This role integrates financial planning, operational assessments, and strategic analysis, clarifying development progress, unit economics, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead forecasting and budgeting processes using data-driven insights.
Manage month-end close procedures with thorough ownership.
Collaborate with Accounting to maintain controllership priorities.
Conduct tailored financial analyses addressing specific business queries.
Develop financial dashboards and KPI tracking reports.
Oversee invoice, payment, and coding procedures for proper general ledger management.
Extract, clean, and organize data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy.
Monitor departmental KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Maintain and improve company data dashboards.
Implement data analysis to reveal trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Use data to expose operational inefficiencies and support franchise performance evaluation using standard metrics.
Assess marketing campaigns measuring acquisition costs, retention rates, lifetime value, and recommend optimization strategies.
Create detailed financial reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings.
Utilize financial and accounting tools to develop and refine custom financial reports and dashboards highlighting unit and system performance.
Work with Business Intelligence teams to produce stakeholder-specific dashboards.
Present complex analytical data in an accessible format for non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally to build financial models and translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
Communicate findings and advice to drive informed business decisions.
Align FP&A outputs with strategic and operational priorities alongside department heads and executives.
Stay updated on finance and accounting trends, continuously improve financial processes, data management, and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

Advanced skills in Excel, proficiency with SQL and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Experience with Quickbooks, Qvinci, or Mindbody is beneficial.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
Experience in franchise, retail, or fitness sectors is a plus.
