Role Overview
Barden has been appointed to collaborate exclusively with a reputable client undertaking a significant finance and systems transformation programme. The client is recruiting a Finance Lead - Transformation to take senior ownership of an ERP implementation, running alongside a CRM rollout. This position is located in Dublin on an 18-month fixed-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ERP implementation from a finance standpoint, taking charge of design decisions across critical modules including Record to Report, Order to Cash, General Ledger, Procure to Pay, and Commercial Pricing.
- Coordinate and critically evaluate finance subject matter experts to ensure consistency and cohesion across multiple workstreams.
- Serve as the financial conscience within the programme, guaranteeing that solutions align with practical finance operations.
- Deliver organized inputs to Steering Committee forums, highlighting risks, issues, and necessary decisions, and collaborate closely with programme resources to clearly represent finance perspectives at the programme level.
- Facilitate finance readiness across various regions and operational areas ahead of go-live and system cutover.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified accountant background from Big 4 or industry training, or comparable senior finance professional experience.
- Demonstrable experience in a finance leadership role during at least one ERP or CRM implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of everyday finance team operations.
- Proven capability to connect Finance, IT, and external delivery teams effectively.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels within projects.
