Field Service Engineer - Industrial Door Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of premium Hörmann industrial door systems across major multinational company sites in Tamil Nadu and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission Hörmann products including High-Speed Doors, Sectional Doors, Rolling Shutters, and Dock Levelers.
• Conduct general servicing and perform annual preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults during on-site visits.
• Provide clients with advice regarding technical solutions, spare parts, and system upgrades.
• Document service activities and obtain client sign-offs on service reports.

Candidate Profile and Technical Skills

• Proficient mechanical skills including knowledge of gear motors, spring tensioning, and alignment techniques.
• Understanding of electrical systems such as wiring diagrams and single/three-phase connections.
• Familiarity with electronics components including PLCs, sensors, and drive systems.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics disciplines.
• Experience working with industrial doors or heavy machinery is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, capable of independent problem solving, and prepared for fieldwork.
• Possession of a bike is mandatory for travel requirements.
• Willingness and availability to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh.

Additional Information

• Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Compensation ranges between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000 per month.
