F&B Service Expert (Team Leader)

Position Overview

As a Food & Beverage Service Expert serving as a Team Leader, you will facilitate teamwork among staff to deliver exceptional service and ensure guests' needs are fulfilled. Responsibilities include execution of opening and closing tasks such as organizing supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and work areas diligently throughout shifts, and securing premises at day's end.

Key Duties

• Oversee dining room operations by monitoring seating, service efficiency, guest safety, and comfort levels.
• Initiate maintenance requests to relevant departments and escalate urgent repairs promptly.
• Report any incidents involving employees, guests, or vendors to management and Loss Prevention with timely documentation.
• Assist in recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, disciplinary actions, motivation, and coaching of team members, setting a positive example.
• Enforce adherence to company policies, safety, security protocols, and participate in required training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance in line with uniform standards and uphold confidentiality and asset protection.
• Engage guests warmly according to brand standards, anticipate their service requirements, provide support for guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Foster positive workplace relationships by communicating clearly, supporting teamwork toward shared objectives, and responding thoughtfully to colleagues’ concerns.
• Ensure service meets quality benchmarks, perform detailed inspections of tools and equipment, and adapt physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds, navigating varied spaces, and continuous standing or walking.
• Perform additional reasonable responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
• At least one year of relevant work experience in the field.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications mandated.
