직무 설명
Role Overview
We are looking for a Facility Engineer to manage factory infrastructure, support civil works, and ensure safe, reliable, and compliant facility operations at the Chorasi, Gujarat site.
Facility Operations
- Take charge of upkeep for factory infrastructure, including buildings, roads, drainage networks, and internal utility systems.
- Track how the facility is performing and respond quickly when breakdowns or disruptions occur.
Infrastructure Development and Projects
- Support civil and infrastructure assignments such as plant expansion, equipment foundations, changes, and renovation work.
- Assess layouts and design inputs while coordinating with consultants, OEMs, and contractors.
- Make sure execution follows approved drawings, technical requirements, and project schedules.
- Keep a close watch on contractor output and workmanship quality.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure that all facility activities follow statutory rules and EHS standards.
- Promote safe work methods and strict compliance with permit-to-work requirements.
- Work with EHS teams on audits, inspections, and corrective action closure.
- Keep compliance and approval documentation updated and properly filed.
Vendor and Contractor Management
- Coordinate with outside agencies, suppliers, and contractors for maintenance and civil work execution.
- Assist supply chain teams in evaluating vendors from a technical standpoint.
- Monitor contractor safety performance, quality standards, and adherence to assigned scope.
- Check RA bills and confirm that work has been completed according to contract terms.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain records related to repairs and facility drawings or layouts.
- Prepare MIS updates covering facility condition, utility usage, and project status.
- Review and approve technical documents such as foundation drawings, layouts, and design basis reports, as per role capability.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify ways to improve facility dependability and operational efficiency.
- Apply proven practices for industrial facility management.
- Support sustainability efforts and cost-saving initiatives.
