Role overview
This position is focused on managing important facilities management client accounts and ensuring service delivery meets commercial and operational expectations. The role combines client relationship ownership, subcontractor coordination, contract oversight, and revenue growth within the facilities management environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Tier 1 facilities management clients.
- Serve as the main contact for assigned key accounts and work to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Oversee subcontracted service partners to make sure work is delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Spot opportunities for additional business within current accounts and contribute to revenue expansion.
- Draft proposals, price quotations, and commercial agreements.
- Track contract delivery, KPIs, and SLAs while ensuring all client requirements are met.
- Work closely with operations, technical, and finance teams to support successful project delivery.
- Handle client concerns, queries, and escalations in a prompt and professional manner.
- Take part in regular client meetings, business reviews, and performance assessments.
- Create account plans, sales forecasts, and management reports.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Applicants should have 7 to 10 years of experience in key account management, business development, or sales in the facilities management, MEP, or building services sector.
- Experience managing large accounts for Tier 1 facilities management companies is necessary.
- Strong background in coordinating subcontractors and managing contract execution is expected.
- Solid commercial judgment, negotiation ability, and relationship-building skills are important.
- Good knowledge of FM services, maintenance contracts, and service delivery approaches is needed.
- Strong spoken and written communication, along with presentation skills, is required.
