Facilities Maintenance Officer

About the Role

Alt Hospitality is seeking a skilled tradesperson or maintenance expert to join their maintenance squad based at Club Central in Hurstville. This hands-on opportunity is perfect for a versatile trades professional who values craftsmanship, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives working on a variety of maintenance tasks. The primary workplace is the Hurstville site, supporting Club Central, a commercial building, and the Travelodge hotel. Occasionally, support may be needed at Menai and Sandringham locations within Sydney South.

Key Responsibilities

You will collaborate with a seasoned and approachable team, utilizing your judgment to prioritize work and independently manage your tasks. The position involves diverse hands-on maintenance activities and ensuring each job is completed correctly on the first attempt.

Required Attributes

• Proven experience as a tradesperson or maintenance professional with background in building maintenance or trade work.
• Strong attention to detail with pride in quality workmanship.
• Capability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable performing a broad scope of maintenance duties.
• Positive team player with effective communication skills.
• Trade qualifications and prior facilities maintenance experience will be advantageous.

What We Offer

• Annual salary of $85,000 plus superannuation.
• Work schedule Monday to Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm with some flexibility for later start times.
• No requirement to work on public holidays.
• On-call duty approximately one week monthly with additional allowance and call-out pay.
