Company Overview
Tulsionline is a respected organization with three decades of experience in designing, manufacturing, and exporting home furnishings and accessories based in Gurugram. Their product portfolio includes cushions, scarves, stoles, bed covers, throws, mats, and other related items.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspection of 100% incoming fabric before approving it for production processes.
- Verify that fabric quality aligns with approved standards including construction, hand feel, and finish.
- Detect and separate any defects arising from weaving, dyeing, printing, or finishing before issuing fabric.
- Ensure shade consistency throughout all fabric rolls and categorize lots to avoid shade discrepancies.
- Confirm fabric measurements such as width, GSM, roll length, and meterage comply with approved specifications.
- Perform required shrinkage and quality tests before releasing fabric for cutting operations.
- Control fabric rejection by isolating and reporting faulty fabric to prevent its integration into production.
- Complete inspections within stipulated turnaround times to prevent delays in production.
- Maintain accurate documentation including inspection reports, defect logs, and testing records.
- Provide feedback to sourcing and quality assurance teams on recurring fabric quality issues for corrective measures.
- Support production by ensuring only inspected and approved fabric is issued according to production schedules.
- Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures related to fabric inspection and quality standards.
- Guarantee inventory accuracy by reconciling physical fabric stock with inspection and inventory data.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in fabric inspection areas.
- Identify repeated defects and suggest process improvements aimed at minimizing fabric rejections.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduate degree holder is preferred.
- Possesses 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Has sound knowledge of fabrics, dyeing processes, and measurement techniques.
