About the Role
Lynas Rare Earths seeks skilled Scaffolders to join its Kalgoorlie Rare Earth Processing Facility (REPF), an integral hub blending pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes for critical mineral production. This position offers a residential lifestyle with a family-friendly roster, avoiding FIFO arrangements, allowing you to be home every night with a short commute.
Key Responsibilities
Serving within a specialized chemical processing environment, you will erect, modify, and dismantle complex scaffolding structures near high-temperature kilns, acid leaching tanks, and automated separation units. Collaboration with processing, mechanical, electrical, and engineering teams is essential to ensure efficient and compliant safe access solutions.
Requirements
- Prior experience in mining, construction, or heavy industrial sectors
- Current High Risk Work Licence for basic, intermediate, or advanced scaffolding
- Certificate III in Scaffolding (CPC30920)
- Physical ability to safely manual lift, climb, and work at heights under various conditions
- West Australian C Class Manual Driver’s Licence minimum
- Strong commitment to safety with solid understanding of WHS practices
- Ability to interpret structural drawings and plans
- Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Full Australian working rights
- Residence within the Goldfields region to align with residential operations
- Clean-shaven status to pass respirator fit testing as per AS 1715:2009
