Position Summary

The Executive Vice President of Projects leads the strategic planning and execution of corporate projects ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering superior project outcomes. This senior leadership role encompasses oversight of strategic, product, technical, digital transformation, and customer-focused projects from conception to completion. The objective is to optimize project execution processes, establish governance frameworks, and enhance organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive corporate project execution strategies and annual plans.
Establish and refine enterprise-level frameworks and governance for project management.
Oversee execution of key strategic and client projects, managing scope, schedule, costs, quality, and resources.
Lead major transformation initiatives and digital transformation projects, monitoring and aligning strategic objectives.
Implement project governance, risk management, change control, and issue escalation processes to mitigate risks.
Coordinate resource allocation across departments such as product, R&D, operations, sales, and finance to maximize utilization and project support.
Design systems for project performance monitoring including KPIs, dashboards, and analytical reporting.
Drive project management digitalization, championing tools like Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, and Monday.com, utilizing AI and automation to improve execution.
Manage client project delivery ensuring contract compliance and sustained client satisfaction through effective communication and reporting.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to synchronize corporate resources and enhance execution efficiency globally.
Build and develop project management teams, establishing strong leadership, talent growth, and a culture promoting execution excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
MBA, Master’s in Engineering Management, or specialized project management degrees are preferred.
25+ years experience in project management or corporate operations, with at least 15 years managing projects in large enterprises and over 5 years in senior management roles.
Proven experience in setting up enterprise-level PMOs and managing cross-regional, cross-functional projects.
Background in industries such as technology, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, internet services, or SaaS is advantageous.
