Job overview
MK Legal Associates is looking for an Executive Secretary for its office in Fort, Mumbai. This is an on-site position supporting senior legal professionals with scheduling, communication, documentation, and day-to-day coordination.
What the role involves
- Oversee calendars, meeting slots, and court hearing schedules for senior partners.
- Act as the first contact for clients, office visitors, and outside legal counsel.
- Prepare, format, and carefully review legal letters, briefs, and contracts.
- Keep both paper and digital case files well organized and easy to retrieve.
- Handle travel planning, including flights, hotel reservations, and itineraries for the legal team.
- Manage incoming calls, email communication, and routine office supply replenishment.
Experience and profile required
The preferred background is 3 to 5 years of secretarial work, ideally gained in a law firm or a corporate legal environment. Candidates should be confident using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and should also be comfortable with legal typing and dictation work. Clear spoken and written English is important, along with strong planning skills, good time management, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
