Executive Partner - Retail

About the Role

The Executive Partner position works within Gartner Executive Programs (ExP), a specialized service under Gartner Executive Technology Services (ETS) that supports digital leaders. This exclusive membership-focused group caters to over 8,500 CIOs and senior IT executives across 87 countries, including clients from major Fortune 500 companies and governments globally. Members gain seamless access to insights and knowledge addressing CIO-level challenges, leveraging a vast community of peers and Gartner's objective expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio comprising more than 28 member relationships, ensuring effective client service.
• Utilize deep subject matter knowledge to design targeted service solutions using the full range of ExP offerings.
• Identify and deliver innovative strategies by evaluating member Mission Critical Priorities (MCPs) and tailoring bespoke service plans accordingly.
• Conduct various engagements such as onsite and virtual briefings, including workshops, analyst sessions, roundtables, and webinars.
• Represent and lead discussions at ExP events when appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with Gartner's Sales teams to foster member engagement and secure renewals of the ExP business.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years of progressive experience in consulting or executive roles focused on technology domains including AI, BI, Machine Learning, Digital Transformation, Blockchain, Big Data, and Cloud.
• Industry expertise in retail or real estate sectors is mandatory.
• Proven leadership history managing extensive end-to-end transformative technology initiatives, having taken charge or co-led significant critical programs.
• Comprehensive understanding of CIO priorities, IT industry trends, IT operations management, leadership challenges, and performance metrics relevant to CIOs.
• Demonstrated experience in sales or business development engaging at the CXO executive level.
