Job Overview
The Executive will oversee day-to-day electrical operations and manage breakdown maintenance activities to ensure seamless functionality within the facility. This role demands diligent shift operations management to maintain uninterrupted utility supplies and efficient equipment performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage daily electrical operations and promptly address any breakdown maintenance issues.
- Take charge of shift operations ensuring smooth workflow throughout the designated periods.
- Maintain uninterrupted utility supply critical to facility operations.
- Operate and oversee utilities equipment including HVAC systems, air compressors, and clean utilities.
- Perform operation and upkeep of DG sets, low tension substations, transformers, UPS systems, electrical panels, door interlocks, and passboxes.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures for equipment operation.
- Coordinate effectively with Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) vendors to facilitate maintenance activities for specified equipment.
- Ensure all necessary electrical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available at all times.
- Support implementation and execution of corrective and preventive actions in alignment with VEEVA QAMS change control, deviation, and CAPA processes.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
Experience and Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in electrical roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
- Diploma or graduation in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Competencies
Strong operational knowledge in electrical maintenance and utilities management coupled with coordination skills to work efficiently with vendors and internal teams.
