About Mindrift and Role Context

Mindrift, supported by Toloka's expertise in scalable data generation and applied machine learning, connects leading domain experts with pioneering AI projects. Toloka AI fosters the advancement of frontier models through the development of domain-specific reinforcement learning environments and evaluation frameworks crafted by industry practitioners.

We are initiating a Management Consulting domain aimed at transforming authentic consulting projects into structured learning scenarios for AI systems. Our mission is to collaborate with top-tier strategy consultants to transform their real-world experience into comprehensive AI training tasks, encompassing all phases from problem structuring and work planning to detailed analysis and client-ready recommendations.

Who We Seek

This opportunity is exclusive to consultants with direct involvement at high-caliber strategy consulting firms, including McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bain & Company, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, and Strategy& (PwC). Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of hands-on project engagement, demonstrating strong skills in:

Deconstructing ambiguous client challenges into actionable analytical strategies
Developing financial models, market studies, and synthesizing complex data
Producing client-ready materials under strict deadlines
Formulating and defending strategic recommendations amid uncertainty

Role Responsibilities

Create realistic consulting project environments that replicate genuine engagement nuances, factoring in industry specifics, financial constraints, conflicting inputs, and incomplete data
Design structured tasks that encapsulate consulting activities such as market sizing, due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategies, and benchmarking for AI application
Establish evaluation standards and grading frameworks that enable large language model-based systems to assess AI-generated outputs efficiently

Additional Role Details

This role is individually driven, remote, and project-based, focusing primarily on analytical design and evaluation. While no deep technical expertise is needed, candidates will receive onboarding on the necessary lightweight tools.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum of 3 years at a qualifying top-tier strategy consulting firm
Expertise in structured problem-solving and hypothesis formulation
Capability to convert vague problems into precise analytical workflows and outputs
Meticulous attention to logical consistency and output quality
Ability to work autonomously with a self-directed approach
Proficient written English communication, at least B2 level

Compensation

Project contributors may earn up to 60 USD per hour equivalent, varying by expertise and contribution pace. Compensation depends on project complexity, scope, and individual qualifications. Different projects may offer varying pay scales.
