Event Planner / Manager - Social Work and CSR

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic professional with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree to establish and nurture relationships with government bodies, private sector firms, NGOs, CSR teams, and funding agencies. The role involves planning and coordinating awareness programs and social impact initiatives, as well as identifying CSR opportunities to support community development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with CSR opportunities within private companies and corporate organizations.
• Collaborate with Government Departments, Municipal Corporations, Gram Panchayats, NGOs, and other stakeholders effectively.
• Forge partnerships and develop collaborative projects for CSR and community development.
• Create professional presentations, project proposals, reports, and concept notes using Microsoft PowerPoint and other tools.
• Organize and manage awareness programs, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and corporate events.
• Represent the organization in governmental meetings, conferences, and related interactions.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with CSR heads, government officials, NGOs, and corporate partners.
• Research and monitor government schemes, funding channels, CSR grants, and other relevant resources.
• Follow up efficiently on proposal approvals and project documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Document meetings through minutes, and prepare progress and impact reports.
• Be prepared to travel within Karnataka and other areas as the role demands.

Requirements and Skills

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) is mandatory.
• Experience ranging from freshers with relevant internships up to 5 years in CSR, NGOs, government liaison, social development, or community engagement.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Strong relationship-building skills with government officials, NGOs, and CSR teams in corporates.
• Negotiation, coordination, and event management competencies.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Languages: Fluency in Kannada and English is essential; Hindi is preferred.

• Experience in CSR activities and corporate partnerships.
• Coordination with government offices and managing official documentation.
• Involvement in NGO or social development initiatives.
• Skilled in proposal writing and fundraising.
