Role overview
A leading national general contractor focused on ground-up retail construction is seeking an Estimator for its New Jersey operations. The role supports purchasing and estimating across multiple active projects, with a strong emphasis on retail centers and bank work.
Key responsibilities
- Manage estimating activity for 3 to 4 projects simultaneously.
- Prepare ground-up estimates for retail construction assignments.
- Support purchasing efforts across a range of ongoing projects.
- Report directly to the Chief Estimator.
Experience and technical requirements
- Roughly 2 to 4 years of estimating experience in the retail sector is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office is required.
- A solid work history and demonstrated stability in previous roles are important.
Compensation and benefits
The offered base salary range is $110,000 to $130,000 per year, along with a bonus, health benefits, and a 401(k) plan with profit sharing. The position also includes Summer Fridays.
