Job description
Position Overview
Pana Community Hospital is looking for a committed Environmental Services Technician to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment that fosters excellent patient care and infection control.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position with evening shifts either from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM or 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, including rotating weekends.
Compensation
Hourly wage ranges from $15.50 to $20.15, depending on experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms and various hospital departments.
- Collect and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Restock necessary supplies.
- Maintain a sanitary environment to support quality patient care and infection prevention.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
