Role overview
The Laval Clinic is looking for a Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse Technician who has endoscopy experience to join the team. Reporting to the Medical Manager, this role focuses on supporting patients before, throughout, and after endoscopic procedures while contributing to safe, high-quality care and a strong patient experience.
Schedule and location
This is an on-site position in Laval, Quebec. The work schedule is daytime, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday every four weeks.
Compensation
The salary is competitive and depends on experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and get them ready ahead of endoscopic procedures.
- Support physicians during endoscopy examinations and related interventions.
- Keep track of patients before, during, and after the procedure.
- Deliver nursing care in line with established clinical procedures.
- Record all nursing actions in the patient chart.
- Follow quality assurance, safety, and infection-control requirements.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure an excellent patient journey.
Qualifications
- Active and good-standing membership with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
- A nursing diploma from a recognized school or institution.
- Authorization to practice as a Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse Technician.
- Between two and five years of endoscopy experience.
- Strong planning skills, independence, and careful attention to detail.
- A patient-first mindset with solid interpersonal communication skills.
