Role Overview
A security systems company in Dubai is seeking a full-time ELV Technician to work on-site in its Dubai operations. The organization delivers integrated security solutions across the UAE and supports projects involving CCTV, access control, and related low-current systems.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, configure, test, and service CCTV, access control, and other ELV/security systems.
- Identify faults and fix issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system integration.
- Interpret technical drawings and complete installations independently at client sites.
- Carry out both preventive servicing and corrective maintenance.
- Follow safety standards and accepted industry practices throughout the work.
- Work closely and professionally with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- Applicants must already be living in the UAE.
- Immediate availability to join is required.
- A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in CCTV and access control systems, covering both hardware and software, is required.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience in physical security systems is essential.
- Prior work experience in the UAE or GCC is required.
Preferred Technical Background
- Experience with Hikvision is preferred.
- Experience with Pelco is preferred.
- Experience with Salto is preferred.
- Experience with Suprema is preferred.
- Experience with Honeywell is preferred.
- Exposure to other enterprise-level CCTV and access control platforms is also desirable.
Education
A technical diploma or a related certification will be considered an advantage.
