Elec One PTY LTD is a family-owned electrical business operating in the Northern Rivers area and is looking for an experienced electrician to join its expanding team. The position focuses on solar and battery system work alongside general electrical tasks.

You will be involved in projects across residential, commercial, and agricultural settings. The work may be handled independently or with a small, supportive team, depending on the job.

Assignments can range from local sites to solar and battery installations in rural and remote communities across Australia. Some jobs may require being away from home for stretches of up to two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair solar and battery systems.
• Carry out a broad range of general electrical work.
• Work across residential, commercial, and agricultural job sites.
• Complete tasks independently or as part of a small team.
• Travel to regional, rural, and remote locations as required.
• Be prepared for assignments that may involve staying away from home for up to two weeks.

Requirements

• Unrestricted current driver licence.
• Ability to operate a manual vehicle.
• Capability to tow a trailer.
• At least 4 years of experience in the electrical industry.
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• Current White Card.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home, including in remote locations.

Preferred qualifications

• Current NSW electrical licence.
• Solar accreditation.
• Battery accreditation.
• Working at Heights certification.
