Electrical Technician - Saudi National

About the Role

The Electrical Technician will be accountable for setting up, installing, and maintaining electrical systems while adhering to stringent safety standards. This role encompasses executing various tasks such as electrical installations based on approved plans, maintenance, and ensuring the highest quality of electrical work. The incumbent must also support compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) measures, manage materials efficiently to prevent waste, and protect both completed and ongoing work from damage.

Collaboration with team members to uphold high productivity and promptly addressing any QHSE incidents is a key aspect. Reporting to a Supervisor, this position operates within well-defined procedures and guidelines, focusing on practical troubleshooting within the assigned work area.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations in line with approved drawings.
• Adhere to proper installation practices, standards, and safety protocols.
• Execute various power, lighting, glanding and termination, distribution board (DB) dressing, instrumentation, control, and electronic tasks.
• Use materials appropriately to minimize waste.
• Safeguard finished and ongoing work against damage.
• Maintain discipline and promote safe working practices.
• Motivate colleagues to sustain high productivity levels.
• Comply with QHSE and asset management systems during all work phases.
• Immediately report any QHSE or asset management incidents and take precautionary steps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, Graduate, or ITI Trade certification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and building services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledgeable in building services, power systems, lighting, testing, and commissioning processes.
