Role Overview
This role, located in Barrie, Ontario, involves delivering, installing, moving, and exchanging vending equipment for various customer accounts and outlets.
Working Hours and Pay
- Shift: Monday to Thursday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Schedule: Four 10-hour workdays per week
- Hourly wage: $27.96
- Initial application deadline: August 24, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Transport, deliver, replace, and relocate vending machines and equipment.
- Prepare daily vehicle safety inspection reports.
- Load and unload vending machines for delivery or returns.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery and pickup progress.
- Set up coolers by arranging shelves, adjusting temperatures, and ensuring proper refrigeration operation.
- Train customers on how to operate the vending equipment effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of general work experience.
- Previous experience handling and moving equipment is preferred.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting daily.
- Mechanical and technical competence demonstrated through past roles.
- Valid DZ driver’s license is mandatory; AZ license is considered an advantage.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation physical exam or possess a valid DOT Medical Card.
