Role Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the smooth and timely transportation of vital items throughout the hospital premises. This encompasses the handling of postal mail, patient files, clinical waste, linens, pharmaceuticals, laboratory samples, and various other materials necessary to maintain hospital functions.
Work Schedule
The role requires flexibility to cover both daytime and late shifts, including weekend duties as part of a rotational schedule. One typical shift cycle may run from 11am to 7pm across five consecutive days.
Collaboration and Coordination
The post holder will maintain close coordination with clinical and ward personnel, as well as Facility Management and Estates teams, to facilitate efficient operations and service delivery within the hospital environment.
